Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK - 1 in 8 will be diagnosed in their lifetime. Your risk can be higher if you are over 50, or over 45 if you're black, or if there is prostate cancer within your family.

You can check your risk online using our Prostate Cancer UK risk checker.

If you are worried about your risk, please contact your GP surgery. PSA blood tests are available which can help to detect prostate cancer - you don't need to show symptoms to have this blood test.
